About The Position

This position operates a DMG 160 5-axis mill/turn machine with vertical and horizontal machining capabilities. The machine features a 55” vertical turning table with indexing capabilities and a 2-pallet system. It is equipped with a Celos Siemens CNC control and an 183-pocket tool changer. The role involves machining medium to large casing components and housings. A key responsibility includes performing hydrostatic testing while the machine is in operation.

Requirements

Knowledge of mathematics, complex drawings, specifications, charts, and tables
Proficiency with various types of precision measuring instruments
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to define routine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret basic technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
Ability to occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
