About The Position

This position operates a DMG 160 5-axis mill/turn machine with vertical and horizontal machining capabilities. The machine features a 55” vertical turning table with indexing capabilities and a 2-pallet system. It utilizes a Celos Siemens CNC control and has a Capto C10 183 pocket tool changer. The role involves machining medium to large size casing components and housings. A key responsibility includes performing hydrostatic testing while the machine is in operation.

Requirements

Use of mathematics together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables; various types of precision measuring instruments.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to define routine problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret basic technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
May, in rare occasions lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
