About The Position

Supports our company's machinist manufacturing department with various duties. This role involves cleaning and washing parts for inspection, clearing chip hoppers, and setting up tools. The position also requires operating a band saw, overhead crane, and forklift, along with material handling. Frequent standing, walking, lifting, stooping, and bending are necessary. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Forklift certification
• Overhead crane experience
• Good oral communication skills
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous machinist helper experience desired

Responsibilities

• Clean and wash parts as needed for inspection.
• Clear chip hopper as needed.
• Clean and set up tools as needed.
• Operate band saw, overhead crane and forklift as needed.
• Material handling.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
