About The Position

NJR Home Services, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, is seeking a Helper in its Farmingdale, New Jersey office. The role assists with installing residential and commercial HVAC equipment and water heaters. The listed duties describe the position’s primary responsibilities and do not prevent a supervisor from assigning other duties, responsibilities, or initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication, piping and sizing, low-voltage electrical wiring, and installation of residential HVAC equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Graduation from an HVAC vocational or technical school, or participation in a journeyman apprentice program specializing in HVAC or plumbing.
• One to two years of experience working for a plumbing and heating company.
• EPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation of residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
• Assist with the installation of water heaters.
