About The Position

Safely and efficiently manufacture quality parts using automated equipment and machines to ensure the highest quality components for the company's products. The role involves preparing and operating production equipment, measuring work pieces, following safety and quality documentation, recording production, and maintaining a clean work area. Responsibilities

Follow company policies and procedures, Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS & EMS), the Kawasaki Production System (KPS), and applicable legal and compliance regulations such as OSHA.
Identify parts, lift metal stock or work pieces manually or with hoists, and position and secure them in machines using fasteners and hand tools.
Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment as required.
Align and secure jigs, fixtures, tools, attachments, accessories, and materials to meet specifications.
Communicate production needs or issues to appropriate personnel.
Perform minor assembly using power tools and hand tools.
Remove and replace tooling as required.
Measure and calculate work-piece dimensions and tolerances using mathematics, precision measuring instruments, and/or fixtures to ensure conformance to specifications.
Follow related documentation to verify processes and ensure safety and quality.
Record production using required documentation, marking, and tagging procedures.
Perform duties safely and appropriately, following work and safety rules, including specialized safety and health training.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
