About The Position

Machine Operators at Swire Coca-Cola perform general duties involving the physical handling of products, materials, supplies, and equipment. The role operates and monitors production equipment, prepares machinery and materials for production, inspects product quality, reports malfunctions and hazards, and maintains a clean and safe work area. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM; overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs. Weekend and holiday work may also be directed by the business.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent degree/certificate required.
• Forklift certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment, replenishing materials as needed during the production shift.
• Set up machinery and ensure production materials are available and ready for use.
• Visually inspect production runs and document results, confirming product quality throughout production.
• Determine and report malfunctions, safety hazards, and product defects to a supervisor or manager.
• Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and the assigned area to meet safety and performance standards.
• Attend assigned meetings and assist with special projects and events.
