About The Position

Swire Coca-Cola is hiring a Machine Operator to perform general duties involving the physical handling of product, materials, supplies, and equipment. The role operates on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM, with overtime and weekend work required based on business needs. The operator helps keep production running safely and efficiently by operating equipment, preparing production materials, checking product quality, reporting malfunctions and hazards, and maintaining a clean work area.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent degree/certificate), be at least 18 years old, and obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire. They must be able to learn and operate assigned production equipment, perform essential functions with little or no supervision, work weekends and holidays as directed, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed during the production shift.
• Set up machinery and ensure production materials are available and ready for use.
• Visually inspect production runs and document results, confirming product quality throughout production.
• Determine and report malfunctions, safety hazards, and product defects to a supervisor or manager.
• Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and the assigned area to meet safety and performance standards.
• Attend assigned meetings and assist with special projects and events.
