Machine Operator - Second Shift

About The Position

Swire Coca-Cola is hiring a Machine Operator to perform general duties involving the physical handling of product, materials, supplies, and equipment. The operator works a Monday–Friday second-shift schedule from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with overtime and weekends required based on business needs. The role involves operating and monitoring production equipment, preparing machinery and materials, checking product quality, reporting problems, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent degree/certificate.
Obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire.
Ability to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to perform essential functions with little or no supervision.
Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed during the production shift.
Set up machinery and ensure production materials are available and ready for use.
Visually inspect production runs, document results, and confirm product quality throughout production.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or product defects to a supervisor or manager.
Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and the assigned area to meet safety and performance standards.
Attend assigned meetings and assist with special projects and events.
