About The Position

The Machine Operator performs routine production functions under general supervision, including filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspecting. The role works under direct supervision and follows standard operating procedures, routine practices, and instructions, making decisions as required by position responsibilities.

The operator maintains accurate records and logs in accordance with FDA, GMP, and ISO 9000 requirements. The position supports team goals, applies basic skills to routine tasks within a process or skill area, and may rotate among different tasks and responsibilities. The role is located in Sparks, Maryland, and is scheduled for 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The stated duration is 12 months.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or production experience.
• Previous experience adhering to specific quality standards, or the ability to do so.
• At least basic machine operation experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of manufacturing experience.
• Effective communication skills sufficient to communicate with coworkers and the Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work regularly and punctually.
• Ability to get along with others and work in a team environment.
• Must have transportation to the site.
• Safety shoes are required.
• Drug test is required.
