About The Position

The Anodizing Racker loads parts that are ready for anodizing onto racks, ensuring proper contact for a uniform coating and securing parts so they do not fall while moving through process tanks. The role racks parts onto rack splines and frames and unloads them after processing. The position also moves parts between the machine shop, anodizing area, and assembly; counts, verifies, marks, and labels materials; inspects and sorts finished parts for scrap or rework; and assists with housekeeping in the anodizing department. Employees are expected to maintain quality while working independently and follow safety, 6S, and quality standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must maintain quality while working independently.
Must be safety-conscious and promptly inform supervisors of unsafe conditions.
Must be familiar with the Hazard Communication standard.
Must follow required PPE, machine-guarding, lifting, equipment-use, and restricted-area safety practices.
Ability to stand, walk, twist or turn, stoop or bend, squat, and kneel for 6 or more hours.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for 3 to 6 hours.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Move parts from the machine shop to the anodizing area and move finished goods to assembly.
Rack parts to rack splines using proper technique and ensuring good contact.
Count and verify the proper part count.
Mark and label material with appropriate labels.
Unload and inspect parts from racks after the finishing process.
Inspect and sort material that must be scrapped or reworked.
Assist with general housekeeping in the anodizing department.
Maintain quality while working independently and adhere to safety, 6S, and quality standards.
Validate and enter data on a computer.
