About The Position

The Anodizing Racker handles parts before and after anodizing. This includes loading parts onto racks, ensuring proper contact for uniform coating, securing parts so they do not fall during transfer through process tanks, and preparing rack splines and frames for processing. The role also unloads parts from rack frames and supports the movement and inspection of materials in the anodizing department.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must maintain quality while working independently.
Must be safety conscious and promptly inform supervisors of unsafe conditions.
Must be familiar with the Hazard Communication standard.
Ability to validate and enter data on a computer.
Follow required safety practices, including wearing PPE in designated areas, using equipment and tools properly, and keeping work areas and emergency exits clear.
Able to meet the physical demands of standing, walking, twisting or turning, stooping or bending, squatting, and kneeling for more than six hours; lifting up to 50 pounds for three to six hours.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Move parts from the machine shop to the anodizing area and move finished goods to assembly.
Rack parts to rack splines using proper technique and ensuring good contact.
Count parts and verify part counts.
Mark and label materials with appropriate labels.
Unload and inspect parts after the finishing process.
Inspect and sort material that must be scrapped or reworked.
Assist with general housekeeping in the anodizing department.
Maintain quality while working independently.
Follow safety, 6S, and quality standards.
