About The Position

Electronic Coating Technologies (ECT), part of the Bachmann Chemical & Engineering family of brands, specializes in protecting electronics through subcontract manufacturing, distribution of adhesives, coatings, and equipment, and in-house design and manufacturing solutions. ECT is seeking a self-driven, qualified Machine Operator for its Clifton Park, New York location. The operator follows standard operating procedures to safely operate equipment that coats and converts work into finished products, including potted products.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work on a fast-paced schedule throughout the shift.
Ability to stay focused while performing repetitive work.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Spend at least 90% of work time standing or walking on the production floor.
Ability to lift 40 pounds for short periods.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of IPC standards.
Manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

Run automated processes including masking, gelling, conformal coating, potting, and encapsulating.
Seek quality assurance feedback at appropriate times throughout the shift.
Follow ISO and ESD standard operating procedures exactly.
Accurately and diligently log information using the MRP system.
Elevate quality concerns to QC.
Safely operate process equipment as directed by a supervisor, work instruction, or equipment manual.
