About The Position

Jennie-O Turkey Store is seeking a Machine Operator for their 2nd shift in Barron, WI. This role involves working on production lines, maintaining a safe and quality-focused environment, and performing other assigned duties. The position requires the ability to work 8-12 hour shifts, stand for extended periods on a concrete floor, and work in temperatures between 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit. Physical requirements include performing repetitive motions and lifting up to 50 pounds. Appropriate personal protective equipment must be worn. The role also requires the ability to work effectively in teams and unsupervised, and to read, write, and speak English.

Requirements

Must be able to work 8-12 hour shifts
No restrictions standing on a concrete floor for 8-12 hours
Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from 32-40 degrees
Must be able to perform repetitive motions, such as: twisting, turning, bending and reaching
Lift up to 50 pounds
Must wear a hairnet, hard hat, ear muffs, safety glasses, steel toe boots and/or other personal protective equipment as required for the position
Must be able to work with large groups as a team and also be able to work unsupervised
Must be able to read, write and speak English

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous machine operator experience is a plus
Must have basic reading, writing and math skills
