About The Position
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will operate and maintain automated packaging equipment responsible for folding and filling product while ensuring safe, efficient operations that meet quality and food safety standards at our Hamburg, Iowa facility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of manufacturing or machine operation experience
- Experience operating computerized equipment and troubleshooting equipment issues
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and adjust automated folding and filling packaging machinery to maintain efficient production flow
- Set operating conditions using control panels and respond to equipment issues to minimize downtime
- Clear jams and restock materials to support continuous operations
- Perform and document quality checks, including bag integrity, weights, and product volume
- Record machine downtime and production data accurately to support reporting and analysis
- Maintain required production and sanitation documentation
- Follow all food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete housekeeping and sanitation tasks
