Paradigm Inc.•Virginia Beach, VA
•$19 - $22•Onsite

About The Position

Paradigm is hiring Machine Operators for multiple departments at its Virginia Beach facility. Operators work with specialized production equipment to print diplomas and certificates and prepare and package credentials for delivery. This hands-on role suits dependable, detail-oriented people who enjoy machinery, problem-solving, and producing tangible results. Machine operation or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required; mechanically inclined candidates willing to learn are encouraged to apply. Depending on the assignment, operators safely set up, run, monitor, and shut down production machines, which may include print presses, HMI-controlled robotic binding equipment, industrial bookbinding machines, and document fulfillment machines. They prepare and verify materials and work orders, monitor product quality, troubleshoot issues, perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance, record production information, and maintain a clean and safe work area. The role also supports other production activities as needed. This is an active manufacturing position in an open manufacturing and warehouse environment. It requires standing at equipment for extended periods; regularly pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials weighing approximately 35–50 pounds; and frequently walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and moving through production and storage areas. Operators may use carts, step stools, and rolling ladders. Reasonable accommodations may be available to qualified individuals with disabilities. The position offers a consistent, full-time weekday schedule, paid training, opportunities to learn additional equipment and advance, and an hourly starting range of $19.00–$22.00 depending on applicable experience. Medical, dental, vision, retirement plan matching, paid sick leave, annual leave, and paid holidays are available subject to applicable eligibility requirements.
