About The Position

Viant is hiring Machine Operators to support production of medical devices. No prior experience is necessary, and training is provided. Operators work with machines to maintain productivity, efficiency, and product quality; inspect and test products; separate and trim molded parts; package products; collect data; complete GMP-compliant paperwork; and support coworkers and production teams. The role emphasizes safety, attendance, teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to company policies and Viant’s values. Openings are available on four schedules: A Shift (Sunday–Tuesday and every other Wednesday, 7 a.m.–7 p.m.); B Shift (Sunday–Tuesday and every other Wednesday, 7 p.m.–7 a.m.), with a $2.00/hour shift differential; C Shift (Thursday–Saturday and every other Wednesday, 7 a.m.–7 p.m.); and D Shift (Thursday–Saturday and every other Wednesday, 7 p.m.–7 a.m.), with a $4.00/hour shift differential. The posting advertises a $3,000 sign-on bonus and an additional attendance bonus of up to $800 annually. Viant describes its environment as climate controlled, clean, and comfortable. Responsibilities

Perform visual inspections and testing to ensure products meet quality standards.
Report data and coordinate with mold technicians or maintenance regarding machine errors.
Separate parts from runners and inspect for defects such as flow lines, long gates, shorts, splaying, and flash; trim or clip excess plastic as needed.
Pick up bins of parts from shelves beneath injection molding machines.
Provide coworker break relief as required by the supervisor.
Package parts in bags, totes, or boxes, as applicable to the plant.
Complete paperwork accurately in accordance with GMP standards.
Act flexibly and in ways that promote teamwork.
Pack and pull samples for customers or Quality Control.
Perform other duties as assigned to support Viant’s vision, mission, and values.
