Machine Operator - $500 Sign-On Bonus
About The Position
Avery Dennison’s Vestcom business unit is seeking a mechanically inclined Label Machine Operator for its production team. The operator sets up and runs label machines, troubleshoots technical problems, and ensures products meet quality standards. The role involves meeting production deadlines with a zero-defect mindset, identifying root causes of equipment issues, monitoring close tolerances, accurately recording materials and time in an ERP system, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Starting pay is $18 per hour, with a shift differential for night shifts, and the position offers a $500 sign-on bonus. Available schedules include day or night shifts, Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday, with shifts generally running 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., with shorter Wednesday hours depending on the schedule.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to two years of related experience and/or training.
- Strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.
- Ability to embody and reflect Vestcom’s core values.
Responsibilities
