About The Position

Vestcom, a standalone business unit of Avery Dennison, is seeking a mechanically inclined Label Machine Operator for its production team. The operator is responsible for setting up and operating label machines efficiently, resolving technical issues, and ensuring products meet quality standards. The role emphasizes meeting daily production deadlines with a zero-defect mindset, diagnosing malfunctions and addressing root causes, accurately recording materials and time in the ERP system, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. The starting hiring rate is $18 per hour, with a shift differential for night shifts. The position offers a $500 sign-on bonus. Potential schedules include day or night shifts, with shifts running Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday as listed in the posting.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
One to two years of related experience and/or training.
Strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.
