Machine Operator - Urgent Need
About The Position
Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures. Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps. Has basic training in an operational process area. Works within clearly defined SOPs and adheres to quality guidelines. Works with a high degree of supervision and has minimal discretion. Performs basic operational tasks with a high degree of supervision. Responsibilities include packaging kits, cleaning functions, conducting simple in-process quality checks, and completing routine paperwork. Handles some basic machine operations, such as pulling raw materials, feeding materials into production lines, and clearing some common machine faults. Limited involvement in set-up, start-up, shut-down, and adjustments of machines. Provides minimal input on Standard Operating Procedures. Follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) with supervision. Adheres to housekeeping and safety policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Basic teamwork and communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform semi-routine assignments with supervision
- Proficiency in reading, writing, following diagrams, and performing basic arithmetic
Nice To Haves
