About The Position

The Forklift Operator uses equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within a plant, office, or warehouse. The role may include maintaining records. It performs routine tasks using prescribed steps and clearly defined standard operating procedures or scientific methods, while following quality guidelines. The employee works under general to limited supervision and develops skills within a single skill area, process, or method.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of cycle-counting experience or related experience and/or training.
• Obtain and/or maintain appropriate licenses, training, or certifications as needed.
• Basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area, such as material handling and management, logistics, or manufacturing production.
• Effective communication skills sufficient to communicate with coworkers and the Team Lead/Supervisor.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents in English and perform basic math calculations.
• General computer skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and/or moving over 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required).
