About The Position

Tower Labs is hiring entry-level Machine Operators for its Centerbrook location. The role involves setting up, operating, monitoring, and adjusting production equipment to manufacture quality products safely and efficiently. Operators work as part of a team and receive training on Tower Labs' equipment, processes, and quality standards. The position is listed as a first-shift role and pays $20.00–$21.50 per hour.

Requirements

Mechanically inclined and interested in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Able to read and follow instructions and perform basic math.
Works well with others as a team player.
Motivated, focused, and dependable.
Willing and eager to learn new skills and adapt to changes.
Comfortable standing continuously throughout the shift, repetitive use of both hands, occasional reaching, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., and pushing or pulling up to 200 lbs. using a hand pallet jack.
Able to wear required PPE and sanitary gear, including safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, dust masks as needed, hairnets, beard guards, and gloves.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate production machines and make adjustments during operation.
Troubleshoot machines and equipment and assist maintenance personnel with repairs.
Perform in-process testing as needed to ensure product quality is within established limits.
Take ownership of the quality of products produced.
Complete production paperwork accurately and on time.
Follow safety requirements, cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and company SOPs.
