About The Position

As a Machine Operator at Prysmian, you will safely operate and monitor production equipment to manufacture quality products efficiently and in accordance with production standards. Starting pay is $17.00–$19.00 per hour, with an additional $2.00 per hour night-shift differential. Twelve-hour day and night shifts are available; overtime and weekends may be needed.

Current operator opportunities include Hand Coiler, Skaltek Operator, Cabler / Rewind / Cutline Operator, Insulation Line Operator, Wire Drawer / Strander Operator, and Armor Operator. Duties and skill levels vary across these production roles, from entry-level material handling and repetitive manufacturing tasks to advanced operation involving mechanical systems, tooling, and production processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while wearing required personal protective equipment.
