Machine Operator Trainee
About The Position
Poly-America, L.P. is hiring Machine Operators to join its production team. The company produces polyethylene products, including trash bags and construction and agricultural films. Machine Operators keep assigned production lines operating acceptably, monitor machine operations and output, perform quality checks on finished products, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Additional duties and opportunities may be assigned by management. The schedule is a yearly set rotation of four days on and four days off, with 12-hour shifts. Employees may be assigned to day or night shifts.
Requirements
- Recent experience in an industrial, construction, or general labor job.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a day or night shift as assigned by management.
- Ability to learn Poly-America's processes and procedures.
- Must successfully pass a drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Machine Operator role is preferred.
Responsibilities
