Machine Operator Trainee
About The Position
Poly-America, L.P. is hiring Machine Operators to join its production team. The company produces polyethylene products, including trash bags and construction and agricultural films. Machine Operators keep production lines operating acceptably while monitoring production output and assigned machine operations. They perform quality checks on finished products and maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management as needed. The yearly schedule is four days on and four days off, with 12-hour shifts. Employees must be able to work either a day or night shift as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Recent experience in an industrial, construction, or general labor job.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a day or night shift as assigned by management.
- Ability to learn Poly-America processes and procedures.
- Successfully pass a drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Machine Operator role is preferred.
