About The Position
A Machine Operator for Lennox AES at the Tallassee, Alabama location operates and performs basic maintenance on machinery to support efficient production and meet quality standards. The role may include setting up machines, troubleshooting, contributing to process improvement initiatives, and assisting in other areas.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move moderate to heavy objects.
- Ability to operate basic machinery, such as a plasma table, shear, or press brake.
- Ability to work with a positive attitude and in a team setting.
- Previous manufacturing and machine operation experience.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, diagrams, or assembly instructions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate assigned machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting settings.
- Monitor machine outputs to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and issues encountered.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions.
- Perform basic, routine machine maintenance.
