About The Position

The person hired for the position of Machine Operator I will work at our 3M Aearo Technologies Newark Delaware site. As a Machine Operator I you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world.

Requirements

Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing or production environment
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Applicants who meet the basic qualifications above will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.
Please note that applicants must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with 3M.

Nice To Haves

3 to 5 years in a manufacturing or production environment
1 to 2 years operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment
Proven troubleshooting skills
Ability to read measurement tools in metric format such as rulers, tape measure, and drop gauge.

Responsibilities

Operator Hydraulic Die Cutting Press.
Pulling, packing and labeling orders per established procedures & customer requirements.
Process orders and inventory paperwork according to established procedures.
Operate Atom Flash Cutter.
Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
