About The Position

Dart Container is hiring a seasonal Machine Operator I to support production using high-speed process equipment. The role assists with equipment setup, startup, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and shutdown, and supports the process from raw materials through finished goods. The operator also maintains production logs and reports and performs production processes in SAP as required. The listed shift is 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The position pays $21 per hour, with an additional $2 per hour shift premium for overnight shifts.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic problems, including knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Math skills including simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Minimum proficiency in English to support effective new-hire training and ongoing communication about safety and quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up, starting, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and properly shutting down process equipment.
• Assist with process machinery from raw materials through downstream finished goods.
• Maintain production logs and reports as required.
• Perform production processes in SAP as required.
