About The Position

Dynomax is a family-owned company that designs, manufactures, and develops high-precision machined components, injection molding and tooling, sub-assemblies, automated work cells, specialty machines, and machine tool spindles. The Level I Machine Maintenance Technician helps maintain the company’s production equipment by performing scheduled maintenance, replacing fluids and filters, and removing chips and cleaning equipment. The technician also assists senior Maintenance Technicians with diagnosing malfunctions and repairing system components, and replaces specified electrical equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Ability to read precision measuring hand tools.
• Strong technical skills and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Replace fluids and filters in production equipment.
• Remove chips and clean production equipment.
• Assist senior Maintenance Technicians in using gauges and other test instruments to diagnose malfunctions.
• Assist senior Maintenance Technicians in using hand and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble system components.
• Replace fuses, light bulbs, circuit breakers, electric switches, and other electrical equipment according to electrical specifications.
