Machine Maintenance Technician - Level III

About The Position

Dynomax, a family-owned company that designs and manufactures high-precision machined components, injection molding and tooling, sub-assemblies, automated work cells, specialty machines, and machine tool spindles, is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join its first-shift Maintenance team. The technician will help maintain the company’s production equipment and state-of-the-art machinery.

Requirements

Six or more years of CNC maintenance experience.
Proficiency in using and navigating CNC machine controls.
Proficiency in advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of CNC machine controls and components.
Proficiency in creating SOPs.
Proficiency in mechanical and controls calibration standards and methods.
Proficiency with hand tools and the ability to read precision measuring hand tools.
Strong technical skills and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair CNC machines, industrial equipment, electric motors, and related equipment.
Perform scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
Assist with the creation, verification, and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Move and replace machinery using forklifts and dollies after obtaining the proper certifications.
Diagnose and identify faulty electrical and mechanical components.
Work at the component level on spindles, bearing packs, ballscrews, lubrication systems, and machine alignment.
Use gauges and other test instruments to diagnose malfunctions, and hand and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble system components.
Fabricate, assemble, and test mechanical system parts as needed using hand and power tools.
Replace fuses, light bulbs, circuit breakers, electric switches, and other electrical equipment according to electrical specifications.
