About the position
The job overview for this position is that Cybereason is seeking an experienced Mac Software Developer to join their Endpoint Protection group. The group's mission is to provide innovative EDR, DFIR, EPP, and CWPP protection to prevent cyber-security attacks. The developer will be responsible for building real-time solutions that collect data from endpoints, working closely with MacOS APIs, and committing to end-to-end feature development. They will collaborate with security researchers, backend developers, and product teams in an Agile Scrum development cycle. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of development experience with modern C++ and knowledge of Mac OS internals.
Responsibilities
- Build real-time solutions that collect massive amounts of data from endpoints using cutting-edge technologies and in-depth knowledge of Mac OS internals.
- Work closely with MacOS APIs and have a deep understanding of the operating system.
- Commit to full end-to-end feature development, including planning, development, testing, and deployment to production.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including security researchers, backend developers, and product teams.
- Work in an Agile Scrum development cycle.
- Have at least 5 years of development experience with modern C++.
- Possess experience with Mac OS internals.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate others.
- Be capable of independently leading a feature through the entire development cycle while collaborating with different teams.
- Have a background in security or cyber.
- Have experience with MacOS System Extensions, Endpoint Security Framework, and Network Extensions.
