About The Position

Hudson, North America's leading travel retailer, is hiring a MAC Beauty Advisor to provide travelers with an informative and welcoming beauty shopping experience. The role involves sharing in-depth knowledge of MAC Beauty products, recommending products suited to customers' needs, and demonstrating makeup application techniques. The advisor also supports store presentation, sales transactions, inventory, events, and team training.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• One to two years of experience in a service-oriented environment.
• Availability to work 35–40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Professional attitude, flexibility, and a positive approach to change.
• Ability to unpack and pack materials when restocking supplies.
• Ability to move and set up displays and event materials.
• Ability to stand at the counter for almost eight hours.

Nice To Haves

• College degree.
• Experience in the cosmetic field, sales, and makeup application.

Responsibilities

• Help customers express their individual beauty by providing enthusiastic, helpful service and in-depth knowledge of MAC Beauty products.
• Advise customers on MAC Beauty products and other store items.
• Provide expert product recommendations tailored to each customer's needs.
• Deliver timely, welcoming, and professional service.
• Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees, and store management.
• Demonstrate makeup tutorials and applications and share product knowledge.
• Maintain visual standards for displays, signage, and promotional items.
• Operate POS systems and process cash and credit card transactions.
• Collaborate with the team to refresh displays and restock products.
• Participate in training and education sessions.
• Take part in store theme days, events, new product launches, and training sessions.
• Help prepare and maintain accurate inventory.
