Sales Associate (MAC Beauty Advisor)
About The Position
The Sales Associate (MAC Beauty Advisor) inspires customers to express their individual beauty by providing a complete shopping experience, including enthusiastic assistance and product knowledge of M·A·C cosmetics. The role provides personalized customer service, helps customers select products and services, and applies makeup to achieve customers’ desired looks. Associates contribute to team service and sales goals, participate in training, and maintain merchandise, displays, tools, testers, and inventory. The position requires open availability and the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must provide photos of their makeup work, and final candidates must complete a live makeup application demonstration.

Nice To Haves
- Makeup artistry certification and/or previous retail makeup experience is desirable; applicants with amateur-level experience are also welcomed.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely, welcoming, personal, professional, and consistent service to customers.
- Assist customers with product and service selection and provide information.
- Communicate effectively and apply makeup skillfully and efficiently to achieve customers’ desired looks.
- Contribute to team service, sales, and company objectives.
- Participate in M·A·C training sessions and partnered-store mandatory training sessions.
- Clean display units, tools, and testers throughout the day.
- Maintain proper placement and condition of merchandise at the counter, in the stock room, and in maintained areas.
- Follow security procedures for handling cash and company assets.
- Assist with stocking counter supplies and inventory daily.
- Assist with merchandising and restocking products on the floor, in showcases, and in cabinets each morning and as needed throughout the day.
- Follow and model M·A·C policies for customer service, dress code, and professional standards.
