About The Position

At Daylene's Supper Club, we’re looking for a charismatic Maître D’ who thrives on delivering elevated dining experiences and genuine hospitality. In this role, you will oversee the guest dining experience from arrival to departure by warmly welcoming guests, managing reservations and seating arrangements, coordinating dining room flow, supporting service staff, and ensuring every guest receives attentive, personalized hospitality that reflects the elevated experience of Daylene's Supper Club. In this role, the Maître D’ will Lead with Love by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for every guest and team member, building genuine connections, supporting the dining team with positivity and respect, and ensuring each interaction reflects care, hospitality, and an unforgettable experience at Daylene's Supper Club. This role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support the exceptional guest experience and vibrant atmosphere at Daylene's Supper Club.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant operations, or guest service required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality
  • Ability to remain professional, organized, and composed in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and build positive guest relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with restaurant leadership and service teams

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a Maître D’, host, or in an upscale dining environment preferred
  • Experience managing reservations, guest flow, and special requests preferred

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and seat guests while creating a welcoming and elevated dining experience
  • Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments to ensure smooth dining room flow
  • Coordinate with restaurant leadership and service teams to maintain efficient operations
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns professionally and promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards at the host stand and entry areas
  • Support special events, large parties, and VIP guest experiences
  • Communicate effectively with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment
  • Lead with Love by fostering a positive, respectful, and hospitality-focused atmosphere for both guests and associates
  • Assist in training and mentoring host team members on service standards and guest engagement
  • Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
