Hadrian Automation•Torrance, CA
•$160,000 - $190,000

About The Position

Hadrian is hiring an M&A Integration Manager to lead the day-to-day execution of its M&A integration function and turn closed deals into strategic and operational value. The role spans diligence and pre-close planning through Day 1, Day 100, and the transition to business-as-usual. It translates deal theses and value-creation targets into workplans, governance, milestones, and reporting, while coordinating functional leaders and maintaining business and customer continuity. The manager owns integration workstreams under the direction of corporate development and strategy leadership, partnering with FP&A, Engineering, Operations, and Legal. The position sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and the defense and advanced-manufacturing market, with scope expected to grow alongside the corporate development function and deal cadence. The role includes managing post-close Transition Services Agreements, tracking service exits, and establishing standalone functions on schedule. It also builds repeatable integration playbooks and produces executive- and Board-facing updates on integration status, risks, and decisions. The target salary range is $160,000–$190,000, with actual compensation varying based on relevant factors. Benefits for full-time employees include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k), flexible vacation, and equity. Relocation support may be provided in certain situations based on business need. Applicants must meet the stated ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience working on M&A integrations.
  • Cross-functional program leadership, including structuring ambiguous, multi-workstream integrations into workplans, owners, and milestones and driving them to completion.
  • Command of integration mechanics across diligence, Day 1 and Day 100 planning, TSA management, and business-as-usual transition, with exposure to acquisitions, carve-outs, minority investments, and joint ventures.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including comfort with operating models, value-driver analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Clear written and oral communication, including integration plans, status reports, and Board-quality deliverables, and executive presence to influence senior stakeholders and functional leaders.
  • High ownership, curiosity, attention to detail, and comfort owning deliverables with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to synthesize inputs from multiple functions into a clear point of view and decision.
  • Must meet ITAR requirements: be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

  • Experience with carve-outs and TSAs, including standing up standalone functions after close.
  • Experience integrating operations, supply chain, and quality functions in an industrial or manufacturing context.
  • Working knowledge of defense contracting and government cost accounting, including FAR, CAS, DCAA, and contract types, and how they affect deal economics.
  • Sufficient understanding of advanced manufacturing technologies such as CNC and additive manufacturing to evaluate technical targets.
  • Intermediate accounting knowledge and comfort building lightweight tooling or automation using VBA, Python, or SQL.
  • A network in the defense, space, or manufacturing investor and operator ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Finance and business leaders to validate, track, and realize operational-value and cost targets.
  • Run operating cadences, including weekly workstream syncs and monthly and quarterly reviews, to report progress, surface bottlenecks, and sustain execution.
  • Manage post-close Transition Services Agreements, track service exits, and establish standalone functions on schedule.
