M&A Integration Manager

Gallo Mechanical•New Orleans, LA

About The Position

Gallo Mechanical is a New Orleans-based, private equity-backed mechanical contractor that grows organically and through acquisitions. The M&A Integration Manager serves as the finance and accounting professional on each deal, supporting financial diligence before close and leading the acquired company’s accounting integration after close. The role spans Gallo’s construction and service businesses and involves hands-on work, from preparing work-in-progress schedules to working with a seller’s bookkeeper. It is also part of a rotational development program for finance and accounting talent, with opportunities to move into other roles across the company. Before close, the manager supports the CFO, FP&A and corporate development with financial diligence, deal analysis and reporting. After close, the manager works with the Director of Accounting to bring the acquired company onto Gallo’s books, systems and controls, leading the finance and accounting workstream through the first clean month-end on Gallo’s platform. The role may require time on site at an acquired location during the first 60 to 90 days. Between deals, the manager maintains diligence and integration materials and supports FP&A and corporate development.
