HOPEWELL STAFFING NEED - LVN - DENTON, TX
About The Position
HOPEWELL STAFFING is sourcing candidates for a CONTRACT LVN in the DENTON, TX area. This role involves highly complex vocational nursing work, providing care, treatment, and general welfare to individuals with complex medical, mental health, and/or behavioral health issues. The LVN will perform basic and complex routine and non-routine nursing tasks to promote the health of individuals within assigned areas and shifts. Responsibilities include collecting specimens for lab work, performing health screenings, instructing direct support professionals and other staff on providing care that supports individual medical needs, and performing technical nursing procedures according to facility and state regulations. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice as a licensed vocational nurse in the state of Texas or a state that recognizes reciprocity through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
Responsibilities
- Provides for the care, treatment, and general welfare of individuals who have complex medical, mental health and/or behavioral health issues.
- Performs basic and complex routine and non-routine nursing tasks to promote the health of the individuals within the assigned areas and assigned shift.
- Collects specimens for lab work and performs health screenings.
- Instructs direct support professionals and other staff on how to provide service and care that support the individual’s medical needs.
- Performs technical nursing procedures according to facility and state regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
