About The Position
Scripps Health is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse for its Scripps Clinic in Torrey Pines. This benefited, full-time role works an 8-hour day shift, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for 80 hours per pay period. The LVN performs patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate; educates patients and families; documents patient interactions; practices infection control; and contributes to quality patient care within the LVN’s scope of practice. Scripps describes a supportive, team-oriented environment and offers transitional and professional development programs.
Requirements
- Current California LVN license.
- American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Provider.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and follow instructions in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year of outpatient experience as an LVN or LPN.
- Experience in an outpatient setting.
- Urology experience.
- Experience with catheter insertion.
