About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within the scope of practice. The role supports patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general care needs and meets communication needs of patients and their families. The LVN/LPN performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. The posting also describes demonstrating knowledge of EMTALA regulations and the triage process in the ER setting.

This is a full-time night-shift position at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. The schedule is 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. in 12-hour shifts. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply and are discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current certification.

Nice To Haves

• Work experience in health care preferred.
