About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills within the scope of practice. The role supports the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of patient care and meets the communication needs of patients and their families. The nurse works under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse and demonstrates knowledge of EMTALA regulations and the triage process in the ER setting.

This full-time position is at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. The schedule is days, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., working 12-hour shifts. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply and are discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintenance of current certification.
