LVN - Laser & Cosmetic Dermatology - Carmel Valley
About The Position
This is a benefited, full-time position working 80 hours per pay period on a 10-hour day-shift schedule, four days a week. The position is located at Scripps Clinic in Carmel Valley, with hours from 7:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Monday through Wednesday and Friday. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will provide patient care within your scope of practice, educate patients and families, and contribute to quality care as part of the team. Requirements
- Current California LVN license.
- American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Provider.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and follow instructions in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year of outpatient experience as an LVN or LPN.
- Experience in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families and document patient interactions.
- Practice infection control and contribute to the team to ensure quality patient care within the LVN’s scope of practice.
