About The Position

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a part-time LVL 6 Bar and Lounge Porter at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The role is responsible for receiving, maintaining, and storing front- and back-of-house restaurant supplies, while stepping into other kitchen roles as needed to support the team. TD Garden is a sports and entertainment arena that hosts more than 200 events annually and welcomes over 3.5 million visitors.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
Basic math skills, including arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, and the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret bar graphs.

Nice To Haves

One to three months of previous stock clerk, steward, or related experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor deliveries, analyze invoices, and inspect products for quality, temperature, and condition; report faulty or incorrect deliveries promptly.
Rotate food and beverage products properly.
Receive, open, unpack, and stock new or transferred restaurant supplies in appropriate storage and service areas.
Maintain a receiving log by tracking deliveries and missing items.
Take inventory to identify items that need to be reordered or replenished.
Clean and maintain storage and delivery areas, and ensure kitchen and dining room equipment is clean, sanitary, and in good repair.
Support other kitchen roles as needed.
