About The Position

Sprout is a global IT hardware retirement provider serving hyperscaler and enterprise clients. Its services include IT Asset Disposition, Certified Destruction, and Responsible Recycling. ITAD Operators identify, sort, reconcile, and de-manufacture IT assets in accordance with Sprout’s operational and environmental standards. Operators progress through Levels 1 to 4 based on experience and demonstrated skills. At Level 1, the role focuses on basic product identification and material handling, standard de-manufacturing, basic record-keeping, organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance.

Requirements

• Proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding English.
• Ability to accurately type 40 words per minute.
• Proficient in basic arithmetic.
• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for an entire shift.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, when needed.
• Adaptability to changing tasks and expectations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous ITAD experience.
• Experience with hand tools such as a power drill and pliers.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and categorize IT assets and consumer electronics.
• Safely transport materials across the site.
• Keep workstations and stock areas organized.
• Disassemble IT assets into constituent parts for recycling or disposal.
• Follow operational procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and data security procedures, including R2v3 and ISO 27001.
• Perform basic record-keeping tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure safety compliance.
