About The Position

This position involves supervising students in the lunchroom and ensuring their safety as a crossing guard. The Lunchroom Supervisor role includes supporting students in the cafeteria line, seating, and during dismissal, as well as assisting with maintaining the cafeteria area to meet federal, state, local, and department requirements. The Crossing Guard role focuses on providing pedestrian safety for students by facilitating their safe passage across high-traffic streets and intersections.

• Ability to communicate promptly and work harmoniously with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supports students through the customer service line, seating in the cafeteria and dismissal from the lunchroom tables as they complete their meal.
• Assists with the maintenance of the cafeteria area in order to comply with federal, state, local and department requirements.
• Communicates promptly and works harmoniously with the students and staff.
• Provide student and parent pedestrian safety by facilitating safe passage of school children across high traffic streets and intersections.
