About The Position
KleenMark is a family-owned commercial cleaning and supply company operating across healthcare, commercial, life sciences, manufacturing, and education settings. The Lunch Floater maintains the cleanliness of a building’s lunch and gym area by cleaning spills, wiping and putting away tables and seats, dust-mopping and sweeping floors, removing garbage, and cleaning floors with a ride-on scrubber. Duties may vary depending on the building and team, and additional duties may be assigned. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for three hours per day, at $17 per hour. This is a part-time, first-shift position.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to work with urgency and complete tasks within the allotted timeframe.
- Ability to determine the neatness, accuracy, and thoroughness of assigned work.
- Comply with applicable safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Clean spills from tables, seats, and floors using an appropriate wipe, rag, or mop and bucket.
- Wipe down tables and seats to remove food and drink, fold up seats, and put tables away in the closet after lunch.
- Dust-mop floors as tables are cleared, using a scraper to remove stuck food and sweeping up debris.
- Remove garbage at the end of lunch and double-bag garbage cans to help prevent leaks or bags coming loose.
- Clean the gym and lunch area floor using a T7 ride-on floor scrubber.
- Follow safety policies and procedures, including safe use of cleaning chemicals and reporting incidents.
- Provide positive customer service to internal and external customers and ensure assigned work is neat, accurate, and thorough.
- Report to work on time each day and work extra hours when needed.
