About The Position

Pacific Supply is accepting resumes for Lumber Material Handlers to handle, load, unload, and organize lumber and building materials in the yard, warehouse, and customer job sites. The role involves safely staging materials, assisting with material handling, accurately counting incoming and outgoing goods, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and helping customers courteously and professionally. Prior experience in lumber, building materials, or construction material handling is preferred. Compensation is $18.00–$23.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Previous lumber yard, building materials, or construction industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of lumber products, dimensions, and material handling practices preferred.
• Distribution center or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in lumber yard, construction supply, truss, millwork, or building materials.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer and company vehicles.
• Safely handle, stage, and load lumber, plywood, engineered wood products, and other building materials.
• Assist with material handling in the yard and at customer job sites.
• Accurately count and reconcile incoming and outgoing materials.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
