About The Position

Pacific Supply is hiring a Lumber Yard Material Handler to handle, load, unload, and organize lumber and building materials in the yard, warehouse, and customer job sites. The role includes safely handling and staging lumber, plywood, engineered wood products, and other building materials; assisting customers; and maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work environment. Requirements

• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Previous lumber yard, building materials, or construction industry experience.
• Knowledge of lumber products, dimensions, and material handling practices.
• Distribution center or warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload customer and company vehicles.
• Safely handle, stage, and load lumber, plywood, engineered wood products, and other building materials.
• Assist with material handling in the yard and at customer job sites.
• Accurately count and reconcile incoming and outgoing materials.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
