About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a customer-service-oriented Lube Technician. The role provides training in oil changes, replacing wiper blades and air filters, checking tire pressure, and other light vehicle maintenance. Employees support a stay-in-your-car oil change experience, assist customers with service selections, and help maintain shop operations.
Requirements
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, three-foot-deep pit to work safely under cars.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
- Must be able to work in hot or cold weather conditions.
- Must remain alert and aware of surroundings.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to communicate with the public.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must gain a strong knowledge of the company’s oils and services.
Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and grease chassis fittings.
- Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
- Inspect and top off vehicle fluids.
- Help customers select oil types and other services.
- Provide excellent verbal and written customer service.
- Process payments for services performed.
- Perform coolant exchanges and fill services.
- Restock and maintain floor inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness in the shop, office, and bathroom.
