About The Position

All Service Moving is seeking a Lube Technician/Mechanic Assistant to help keep its fleet of trucks in top condition. The role involves routine maintenance, minor repairs, and supporting compliance with DOT regulations. Work is performed outdoors in secure lots at the company's Portland and Beaverton locations; there is no indoor shop, so the ability to work in various weather conditions is required. A company vehicle is provided for service calls. Salary is competitive and based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of diesel engine maintenance experience.
• At least 2 years of lube technician experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience using tools necessary for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain fluid levels in company trucks.
• Keep accurate records of services performed and parts ordered.
• Communicate with Fleet Operations and drivers about vehicle defects and necessary repairs.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Respond to service calls using a company-provided vehicle.
• Repair and replace parts as needed to maintain engine performance.
• Perform engine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and assist with annual inspections.
• Complete additional tasks and repairs as assigned.
