About The Position
Freeway Chevrolet is hiring an entry-level Lube Technician to join its Service Department. The role involves routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and vehicle inspections, helping keep customers’ vehicles running safely and efficiently. Requirements
- Willingness to learn and develop mechanical skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience performing oil changes, basic vehicle maintenance, or minor repairs.
- ASE certifications or completion of automotive technical training.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, including replacing oil filters and oil drain plugs.
- Check and replenish vehicle fluids as needed.
- Rotate tires and check tire pressure.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.
- Inspect vehicles and identify additional maintenance or repair needs.
- Notify Service Advisors of recommended repairs and maintenance.
- Follow dealership procedures and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
