LTO Associate BP2 Day/Night Shift
About The Position
Novolex is seeking individuals with experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment as a Lift Truck Operator who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to advance their career. This role involves moving and transferring materials and finished goods in a high-volume production environment with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and safety. The position requires adherence to all safety rules, standards of conduct, and company practices. The Lift Truck Operator will perform duties as outlined in the standard work, assist with operations on EPS lines, and may relieve operators for breaks. Additionally, the role may involve performing duties of Packers (Packing Associates) and Operator B (Operator Associates), and filling in as an Operator. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, as is the ability to work within a team and build good relationships. Timely completion of assignments and daily inspection of forklifts are also key responsibilities. Support for SAP functions related to inventory and load management is required, along with performing other tasks as needed. The job responsibilities are not all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Experience with Pallet Jack is preferred.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to move heavy loads with a pallet jack.
- Must be able to complete Material Order Forms.
- Need to read and interpret Job Dockets.
- Ability to work independently as well as working with others effectively as a part of a team is essential.
- Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed.

Responsibilities
- Moving and transferring materials and finished goods in a high volume production environment.
- Performing all transfers with a high degree of accuracy and accountability in accordance with established standard processes and procedures.
- Focusing on safety in all duties performed.
- Following all Critical Safety Rules, Standards of Conduct, and plant and company practices, procedures, policies, standard work practices, truck and railcar health and safety rules, including the attendance policy.
- Effectively performing all duties as outlined in the Operations Lift Truck Operator standard work.
- Effectively assisting with operations on all EPS lines as assigned.
- Relieving operators for breaks.
- Performing Packers (Packing Associates) and Operator B (Operator Associates) duties as assigned (and as trained to do so).
- Filling in as Operator for breaks or as assigned.
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers on a daily basis.
- Assisting others in daily assignments.
- Working within a team and building good relationships.
- Ensuring that assignments are completed in a timely manner.
- Performing daily inspection of forklifts.
- Supporting SAP functions as related to inventory and load management (IE. Pick list, PGI).
- Performing other tasks as required.
